Jane Bishop, textile designer, works intuitively with hand dyed and designed fabrics. Bishop collages her
works with other collected fibers and found objects into wall art and furniture. She uses vintage chairs as a frame
stretching and upholstering pieced fiber creations making the old into something new, fun, and fabulous. Bishop has been creating one-of-a-kind scarves, wearables, furniture, and linens for over 12 years and currently works
out of her 1910 Victorian studio in San Antonio, TX., shows in several galleries and art shows, gives workshops, and continues
designing custom fabrics for home furnishings.
