Why: In honor of Contemporary Art Month, RC Gallery will host
the Summer Show of Rock Paper Scissors Collective.
As a member of the RPS Collective, artist, Rhonda
Kuhlman invites you to her working studio along with the other RPSC members - Diana Kersey, Paula Cox, Georgie Cunningham, Jane Bishop, Pat Guerrero and our good friend and guest artist - Katie Pell.

Gallery was a well-known fixture in the Blue Star Arts Complex for it's 1st Friday shows. Rhonda and her partner,
Chris Ake, ran the gallery and retail shop for 3 years until they made the move to their own dirt in 2005. As with her popular
line of bottle cap jewelry and recycled home accessories, Rhonda's space is worth the visit just to see the wonder of
recycling possibilities.
Our guest artist, Katie Pell will be presenting her popular line of indoor/outdoor clay flowers - pruned, perfected and ready to be plucked from
the gallery yard. Stroll thru the gardens of pinks, reds, and yellow jewels and pick a bloom for your own home or garden.
Affordable and made one at a time, the flowers are a sturdy and whimsical surprise tucked among your own foliage. Experienced
collectors come early! - When they are gone - there will be no more.
Pat Guerrero will be showcasing
more of her stunning jewelry - anyone who saw the last show will know what I mean, when I say the hand worked & hand drawn
jewelry pieces of birds are not to be missed.
Jane Bishop returns with her summer collection of hand-dyed
wearables. Beautiful, traditional and contemporarily colored ,"quipels" for the ladies and "guyberras"
for the men.
Georgie Cunningham will be on hand with her hand made paper, which she weaves into dense
and colorful palette pieces. These intimate pieces sing loudly with intricate handiwork and are framed and ready to hang.
Paula
Cox is going all out this show - She has claimed the front wall of the building with an outdoor artwork. Continuing
with her puppies and kitties theme, this artist coyly disarms you with the adorable and then keeps you looking.
Rhonda
Kuhlman's world of recycling will not only be highlighted by the surroundings of her studio space but visibly
present in her collection of revitalized jewelry boxes and treasure boxes.
Lastly, our collective is rounded out by
the ceramic wonders of Diana Kersey. Your summer will be complete with her collection of Sangria
Pitchers. Plan your party, sit in the shade, have a tall glass of sangria and let the summer slowly ride by.
