Jane Bishop--Artist Statement My art encompasses the use of hand-dyed cloth, stamp art, silk-screen,
stencil, and drawings onto natural fibers. The fibers I employ are: silk, linen, cotton, rayon and
hemp.
My unique designs are then used to adorn interesting furniture pieces. I also use vintage furniture
and textiles and re-invent a new "look" with my fiber art designs.
The result creates a one -of a
kind art furniture to adorn your home.
In these times of high-tech and mass
production I revel in the process of creating and designing textiles with my hands and heart.
